 BATTLE SYMPHONY - "When you refuse to give up"


 There comes a time in your life, when all the strength just fades away and you feel like drowning in your own fears and giving in to your demons that haunt you every other day. When all you want to do is curl up within yourself, hug yourself tight enough to get broken pieces back together, but sometimes they don’t, these pieces are scattered into a million little pieces that are hard to put back up.



In the darkest of your days, when you are sitting in the night all alone thinking where it went wrong, a sinking feeling creeps up into your heart, you start to overthink. Each and every thought you have is worse than the previous one, your mind starts to crumble and you start to shake, this hatred towards yourself keeps on increasing by every minute that’s passes by.


You sit there and all you can hear is the voice of your thoughts asking you to give in to your inner demons, but then there’s a moment when you  hear a little voice that whispers from within;
“YOU’VE GOT THIS BUB”


“I am not giving up, I am not giving up, no not me, even when I am down to my last breathe, even when no one else believes, I am not giving up on me”

And this is the moment when your thoughts turn around and there you are contemplating life, and not wanting to give up this soon, there you are finding more and more reasons to get yourself back together.


You see, sometimes a moment is all it takes to change the course of your thinking and get you right back on the path that you left, just cause you lost faith. These are the moments that remind you how strong you could be, these are the moments when you see yourself who you truly are these are the moment when you absolutely refuse to give up.


“Cause there are days when everything comes crashing down at you, you feel helpless, you are scared to your wits as you see your dreams shattering down into a million pieces. But you, you just sit there and stare, not because you don’t want to pick them up again, because there are moments when you want to see how much you can break before you rise again. You feel your heart breaking inside you, there’s a sudden terror in your veins and you feel numb at times. The whole world seems onto you, and you, you just sit there quietly watching it all crash down and trying really hard to hold back those tears, because you, you’re the strong one, the one who never cries (that’s what they say), if only they knew how long you’ve been holding back those tears, how long you’ve been calming your screams, and this is the exact day when you just let it all crash, because this time;
You want to see how much you can break before you rise again”
